Compassionate solutions, safer neighbourhoods, and support for those who need it.

Our community is facing a growing challenge with addiction and mental health, particularly in the downtown area and around the hospital. Residents should not have to encounter people openly using drugs, smoking substances, or experiencing severe addiction in public spaces while walking with their children. Our children and youth deserve to feel safe in their own community.

At the same time, people struggling with addiction deserve compassion, dignity, and access to real help. We need a balanced approach that protects residents while connecting those who are struggling with appropriate treatment, supportive housing, mental health services, and recovery programs.

I believe we need safe and properly managed locations and services where people can receive the help they need without putting residents, children, businesses, or public spaces at risk. We can have compassion for those struggling while still maintaining safety, order, and quality of life in our neighbourhoods.

Supporting seniors so they can remain safe, independent, and able to afford to live in our community.

Our seniors deserve to be cared for, respected, and supported. Many have spent decades building this community, and they should be able to remain in their homes without being overwhelmed by rising costs.

I believe the city should explore a program that partners with local contractors to provide affordable snow removal for seniors — especially those with mobility challenges — helping them stay safe and independent during the winter.

We should also look at strengthening the existing property tax deferral program available to qualifying seniors. The current $500 benefit should be reviewed and expanded so it provides meaningful relief to those who need it most.

Responsible budgeting, prioritizing essential services, and finding efficiencies should come before continually asking residents to pay more. Our seniors built this community. They deserve to be able to afford to live in it.

Supporting workers and small business, creating good jobs, and building a strong, vibrant economy.

Niagara Falls has tremendous potential beyond tourism. We need to attract responsible investment while supporting the local entrepreneurs and small businesses that give our community its character.

I would like to see the city work closely with the Niagara Region, local unions, businesses, investors, and community organizations to create opportunities for good local jobs and sustainable economic growth.

We should also work to revitalize Queen Street and our downtown, making it a place where residents want to spend time — supporting small businesses, restaurants, local shops, arts, culture, and community events to bring people back downtown.

Growth that comes with the infrastructure, services, and safety our residents deserve.

Niagara Falls is growing, and growth can be an opportunity — but it must be planned, responsible, and sustainable. New development and investment should come with the infrastructure, roads, traffic management, public services, and safety needed to support it.

We must make sure development benefits our community rather than putting additional pressure on the residents who already call Niagara Falls home. I believe we can welcome new families, businesses, and investment while also protecting our existing neighbourhoods and homeowners. Growth should improve our city — not overwhelm it.

Prioritizing safe, well-maintained roads and reliable essential services.

Road repairs need to be prioritized based on condition, safety, traffic volume, and community importance. Residents should not have to drive over dangerous roads every day while waiting for repairs.

Even highly visible areas of the city — such as the roads around our police headquarters, to mention one — should reflect the standard we expect for Niagara Falls.

Every taxpayer deserves to know where their money is going.

We can achieve true financial transparency by maximizing our existing resources and staff. I will advocate for the city council to provide clear, regular financial summaries directly on our city website. My focus is on eliminating waste, carefully reviewing department budgets, and ensuring your tax dollars go directly back into our community.
